WHIreland Wealth Management in the Isle of Man supports Manx Cancer Help’s first newsletter

Wealth Manager WHIreland is supporting Manx Cancer Help to get the charity’s first ever newsletter off the ground.

‘Strength Through Support’ will provide information about Manx Cancer Help’s services and fundraising activities. It will be distributed to supporters of the charity, and made available from doctors’ surgeries, libraries, and Manx Cancer Help’s headquarters at the Lisa Lowe Centre in Tromode.

Gareth Nicholson, Manx Cancer Help’s Fundraising Events Coordinator, said: ‘We appreciate all the support we receive and we are extremely grateful to WHIreland Wealth Management for helping us with the production of our first newsletter. It’s important for us to be able to communicate the essential services we provide to the community to ensure that those who need us know how we can help and to make sure that we can raise the vital funds needed. The newsletter is a great way for us to do that, as well as providing the opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to the charity.’

WHIreland Wealth Management in the Isle of Man was established just over two years ago and the Group’s Marketing Manager Symon Walmsley explained: ‘Supporting the local community is an integral part of our ethos and at the core of our brand is our firm belief that “Together, we achieve”. We do that in many different ways through our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. Manx Cancer Help provides essential services to people when they really need support, so we are delighted to be able to help it raise awareness and spread the message about the vital work the charity does.’

The first issue of the newsletter includes reviews of current fundraising activities, such as the recent Lisa Lowe Appeal Walk, the annual ball, and the ‘Mann Up for November’ campaign. It also features new staff appointments and pictures from a recent visit of the charity’s Patrons, Katie Melua and James Toseland. If you would like a copy, please contact gareth@manxcancerhelp.org.
