WH Ireland is delighted to announce the appointment of Karen Barnett as Human Resources Director. Karen joins WH Ireland from Merian Global Investors, where she held the role of Head of Human Resources, focussing on organisational effectiveness, culture, talent acquisition and supporting multiple business change agendas.
In her role as Human Resources Director, Karen will report directly to Chief Executive Officer, Phillip Wale, and will be responsible for developing and executing people strategies, processes and policies in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of WH Ireland. Karen will also work with the management and leadership team to ensure we have a working environment and culture in which our employees can thrive.
Commenting on Karen’s appointment, Chief Executive Officer, Phillip Wale said, “WH Ireland’s success is built by all of our highly skilled people, and as we continue with our plans for growth, we need to ensure that our people strategy supports this plan. Karen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience within Human Resources to WH Ireland, and I look forward to working with her.”
