WHIreland have acted as NOMAD & Broker to support ShearWater Group plc (AIM: SWG) in its placing to raise £8million to part fund the acquisition of SecurEnvoy Limited, a leading UK based provider of multifactor authentication enterprise software solutions. The initial acquisition under the company’s transformation strategy, establishes the company’s presence within the large and rapidly growing identity and access management sector and will support further near term growth opportunities.
Since our appointment as joint broker to CareTech, WHIreland have introduced new institutional investors to the Company and substantial fundraising has enabled growth and helped the company achieve it’s goals.£21 million was raised in February 2015 and a further £48 million in March 2017.
WHIreland won the mandate to organise Private Client Broker (PCB) roadshows in the regions in 2013. Positive responsescontributed to an increase in the share price and provided a platform for placing. Following appointment as joint broker in September 2014, we helped Sirius to outperform at a second placing in 2015. We then acted as co-lead manager for the placing which raised £370 million of new equity as part of a $1.2 billion fundraising in November 2016.
WHIreland has successfully advised Gravity Trampoline Parks, a premium trampoline operator, to secure £5m through private investment from a Guiness Management EIS fund to accelerate its growth plans.
WHIreland acted as financial adviser to FB Investors LLP (“FB Investors”) in its partial cash offer for Sutton Harbour, an AIM listed company.
